Michael Sharma
Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Exinda Networks, Michael Sharma is responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations of the company. Prior to joining Exinda, Michael was chief operating officer and president at PlateSpin Ltd., a software company acquired in March, 2008 by Novell Inc. for $205 million. Prior to PlateSpin, he was the vice president of worldwide sales for Platform Computing. Michael brings more than 20 years of technology industry experience and extensive operational, technical and sales expertise to Exinda. Michael also served as president of Netscape Canada and in various management roles at Oracle Corporation (Canada) and Amdahl.

Efrem Ainsley
Chief Financial Officer

Efrem Ainsley is responsible for all of Exinda’s financial activities with the Finance, Administration and Marketing departments reporting to him. Efrem brings more than 15 years of experience as a financial professional with broad experience in financial reporting, corporate finance and compliance functions for growing technology companies. Prior to joining Exinda, Efrem was CFO for PlateSpin. Earlier in his career, he was vice president and corporate controller with Open Text Corporation, one of Canada's largest and most profitable software companies and served as director of Finance for Cyberplex Inc, a public company and one of North America's leading technology consulting firms.

Con Nikolouzakis
Chief Product Officer

Con Nikolouzakis co-founded Exinda in 2002. Previously, he had a successful career as an architect for network security and infrastructure, holding positions with Goldman Sachs JBWere and Verizon Business. Con has been optimizing networks on a global scale for over 10 years and is a recognized thought leader in the area of network traffic reporting and WAN performance management. He has a strong grasp of new and emerging networking technologies and their impact at a business level.

His qualifications include a Communications and Computer Engineering Honours degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Con has gained a number of technical and management accreditations throughout his career.

Chris Siakos
Chief Technology Officer

Before co-founding Exinda Networks, Chris has had over 10 years of experience in the IP communications industry with a strong focus in the field of academic research and idea incubation. He joined the Centre for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications (CATT, RMIT University Australia) working on IP optimization products for carriers including Telstra, Optus & Telekom Malaysia.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering from RMIT University, Australia.

Ed Ryan
Vice President Products

Ed Ryan is responsible for Exinda’s Product Management, Development and Support organizations. Ed brings 20 years experience in leading product strategy and development teams to successfully build and deliver products to market that drive profitable growth. Prior to joining Exinda, Ed was responsible for Product Management and Product Marketing at Control4 Inc, a home automation provider where he focused on the development of new products while driving product quality. His demonstrated achievements span small start-up organizations to billion dollar companies, including Citrix Systems Inc, Novell Inc, and Platform Computing.

Ed received his MBA from Brigham Young University, and holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island.
