With technical training held recently over 2 weeks in 4
major cities, Leeds, Bournemouth (UK), Milan (Italy) and Dubai (United

::
1700 User Manual
Exinda has released an online User Manual for the Exinda 1700 appliance.
:: Layer 7 Application Signatures
The need to keep up to date
You wouldn't run your network without virus protection, so why
would you risk not having up to date application signatures.
Having built layer 7 application awareness into the product set,
Exinda Networks is constantly writing, updating and releasing application
signatures.
Recently added applications include: Gaming applications, Oracle
signature and others.
With the ever increasing rate of new rogue applications being released
it is important that customers ensure they are up to date and correctly
identifying theses applications that steal bandwidth from critical
business applications. P2P applications that are invisible to most
firewalls also open up the network to potential hackers via the
back door.
:: Sneak preview:
Reporting enhancements with release dates in 2006 Q3:
VoIP / SIP - real time and historical reporting for SIP
based Voice over IP networks. Analyze data by caller name and number,
receiver name and number, handset type, codec used etc.
Citrix Published Application - real time and historical
reporting for Citrix Published Applications. See what applications
are being used over the WAN inside of the Citrix enviroment and
prioritise critical citrix applications. Create predictable user
performance for Citrix environments.

:: What bandwidth am I really
getting .
It is important to correctly match your Exinda WAN Optimization
policies to the real bandwidth throughput at layer three (the Network
Layer). Search for "What bandwidth am I really getting"
at Exinda's
